Christopher Blevins’ race day routine
American racer talks World Cup weeks, short track, equipment choice, and nutrition strategy
Last season, I caught up with inaugural short track World Champion Christopher Blevins just ahead of the Snowshoe World Cup in late September.
That season, his best World Cup result was a 6th-place finish in the XCC at Val di Sole. He had struggled to find his form all year, something we discussed for this article in Escape Collective.
One section of the interview that didn’t make it into an article was all about his race day routine and logistics, which I am publishing for you to see here today.
What do you do in the week leading up to a race?
