What is Ryan MTB?

My name is Ryan Simonovich, a journalist who covers the off-road side of cycling. Ryan MTB publishes news, analysis, and athlete features focused on mountain biking and gravel racing.

My writing most often covers the Life Time Grand Prix and UCI Mountain Bike World Series, in addition to other major races on the calendar.

I publish at least once a week with additional coverage as the news cycle demands.

What are my qualifications? I have been a mountain biker and a cyclist for more than a decade and have raced nearly every discipline. I’ve been involved with the sport as a rider, racer, fan, journalist, and industry member. In addition to Ryan MTB, I write for industry-leading publications such as Escape Collective, Velo, and Cycling Weekly. I am a professionally trained journalist and bring rigor and ethics to my reporting.
